Benoit Paillé - Illuminated Landscapes

Benoit Paillé – Illuminated Landscapes

“Fascinating series of landscapes using a bizarre lighting method involving a suspended glowing square. The images above are not photoshopped, the 1×1 meter light is instead hung in the center of each photograph and the resulting image shows the unique form of illumination that creeps into the surrounding area. Paillé says his goal is to redefine what a landscape photograph is by questioning its reality, creating a kind of poetic moment in space and time.” – Text Source: This Is Colossal.COM

Marty Conklin has taken our photograph of the day.

All day i had withdrawal symptoms for the beach and when i got home all i could think about was the sea. Unluckily for us, where we live is the furthest away from the sea in the UK, so might just have to stick to this brilliantly bright photo for the time being.

We are big fans of his work which even is a little David Hockney inspired, you should check out more of his work on Flickr
